Integrations settings

Settings → Integrations is where you connect RushHour to other services your company uses, see which ones you have set up, and choose which map provider RushHour uses for your company.

Step-by-step guides for individual services are in the Integrations section. For how QuickBooks fits into billing, see Accounting.

The integrations list

Each row shows a service, a short description, the buttons for setting it up, and a ⋮ menu. The search box above the list is not available yet.

Buttons

A service that hasn't been set up shows Install. Once it is set up, the button changes to View, which opens its settings again. Cardknox also shows Uninstall once it is set up.

QuickBooks has its own buttons, which change as you go:

  1. Add Keys — enter your QuickBooks keys.
  2. Edit Keys and Connect — change the keys, or sign in to QuickBooks to connect it.
  3. Edit Keys and Disconnect once QuickBooks is connected, or Edit Keys and Reconnect if the connection has expired.

The Telegram row keeps showing Install after you have signed in, so it doesn't tell you whether Telegram is connected.

Status

Only the QuickBooks row shows a connection status:

StatusMeaning
ConnectedQuickBooks is connected to your company.
Not ConnectedQuickBooks hasn't been connected.
DisconnectedQuickBooks was connected and has since been disconnected.
Connection ExpiredThe connection has expired. Select Reconnect to sign in to QuickBooks again.

When the QuickBooks connection has expired, a warning icon with Reconnect needed! also appears on the row.

For other services, the row shows no status. To check a service's setup, select View.

The ⋮ menu

  • On the QuickBooks row, Edit Keys opens your QuickBooks keys.
  • On the Cardknox row, Delete removes the Cardknox integration after you confirm.
  • The Edit item on every row, and Delete on every row other than Cardknox, are not available yet.

What you can connect

The list includes services for:

  • Accounting — QuickBooks.
  • Card payments — Cardknox.
  • Fleet telematics — Samsara.
  • Messaging — Telegram.
  • Routing and route optimization — Valhalla Routing and VROOM Route Optimization.
  • Maps, address search and directions — Radar, HERE and Mapbox, each connected with your own account keys. You turn on each capability separately.
  • Address lookup, directions and toll costs — Trimble Maps. Adding your own Trimble key is optional, and you turn on each capability separately. Trimble Maps doesn't show maps in the portal.

Some services in the list, such as Motive, GPS Insights and Solera, can't be connected yet.

Choose your map provider

The Map Provider row sets which maps your company sees in RushHour. Pick Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Radar, HERE or Mapbox from the list. The change is saved straight away. For Radar, HERE and Mapbox, add your keys for that provider first. Trimble Maps appears in the list but can't be chosen there.

The ⋮ menu on the Map Provider row opens the settings for each provider — for example to add Google Maps keys, set up OpenStreetMap, or open the Radar, HERE, Mapbox or Trimble Maps settings.

AI provider (bring your own key)

The AI Provider (Bring Your Own Key) row lets companies on the Enterprise plan run the AI assistant and chat features on their own AI provider account. Document search still runs on RushHour.

Contact RushHour to have this option turned on for your company. Until then, the Configure button is unavailable. Once it is turned on, the row shows Connected, and its description shows which provider is active — Platform AI until you choose your own.

Who can manage integrations

  • Adding keys and setting up most integrations, including the AI provider, needs the Company Admin role. For other users, the AI provider's Configure button is unavailable.
  • Connecting, reconnecting or disconnecting QuickBooks, and signing in to Telegram, need the permission listed on the Roles page as Intergrations. The Company Admin role has it by default.

See Roles and permissions.

Coming soon
