Driver app
The RushHour driver app is the mobile app you use when you drive for a company that runs on RushHour. It shows the routes and stops your dispatcher has assigned to you, and walks you through each pickup and delivery so the office and the customer can see what happened.
In these guides, your company means the trucking or logistics company you drive for. Your company decides which features you see and which steps you must complete, so your app may not show everything described here.
What you can do in the app
- See your work — today's stops, your routes on a map or as a list, and the details of each order.
- Complete pickups and deliveries — confirm items, scan barcodes, take photos, collect a signature, scan paperwork, add charges and record cash collected.
- Inspect your vehicle — complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR) and review past ones.
- Keep hours of service — change your duty status and watch your driving and on-duty time.
- Stay in touch — chat with the office and with other drivers you work with, and get notifications about new and changed routes.
- Report problems and log expenses — report an issue on the road and follow it, and submit expenses with receipt photos.
- Manage your account — your profile, documents, vehicle details, password, and deleting your account.
Get the app
| Phone | Where to get it |
|---|---|
| Android | Google Play |
| iPhone | App Store |
You can also find both store links at the bottom of rushhourapp.com. You can only sign in once your company has invited you — see Getting started.
The app is the same on Android and iPhone, and these guides describe both. Keep the app up to date from your store: the settings your company chooses for the app and the newest features need the latest version.

Before you start
- You need an invitation. Driver accounts are created with an invite code from your company. There is no way to sign up without one.
- Allow access when the app asks. The app uses your phone's camera for photos and barcodes, and your location for the map and for arrival alerts.
- Keep the app up to date. Your company's settings for the app apply to the current version.
- The app is in English. You can choose a light or dark appearance in Profile and settings.
Your company can share a link with a customer that follows one order, and — if it chooses that setting — shows where your vehicle is while you drive to that order's stops. See Location.
For your office
If you set up drivers in the Company Portal, see Driver app invitations and sign-in to invite drivers, and Driver app settings to choose what the app asks drivers to do.
