Issues and violations

Issues & Violations has two tabs:

  • My Issues — problems you report from the road, such as a truck problem, a wrong address or a customer refusing a delivery.
  • Violations — RushHour doesn't record violations yet, so this tab has nothing to show. See Violations.

Open it from Report Issue in the dashboard's work tools, or search for issue or violation. Your company decides whether each tab is available.

Report an issue

  1. On the My Issues tab, select +.
  2. Choose a Category: App Bug, Truck Issue, Route Issue, Wrong Address, Missing Paperwork, Customer Refused, Safety Concern, Warehouse Problem or Other.
  3. Enter a Description of at least 10 characters.
  4. Choose the Urgency: Low, Medium, High or Critical.
  5. Optionally add up to 5 photos, taken with the camera or chosen from your gallery.
  6. Select Submit Issue.

The app adds the context for you, so you don't have to type it: the route and truck you are on, the stop or order you are working, and your location — as an address and GPS coordinates — when location access is allowed. You can see these details on the report before you submit.

If some photos fail to upload, the issue is still submitted and the app tells you how many photos didn't make it.

Follow your issues

The My Issues tab shows how many issues you have in total, how many are open or resolved, and how many are critical or high urgency. Filter the list by status, category or urgency.

An issue moves through these statuses as your company handles it:

StatusMeaning
SubmittedYou reported the issue.
AcknowledgedYour company has seen it.
In ProgressYour company is working on it.
ResolvedThe problem has been dealt with.
ClosedThe issue is closed.

Tap an issue to see its details, the vehicle and route it relates to, and any responses from your office. You get a notification when your company responds or changes the status.

While an issue is still Submitted, you can edit it from its details screen — for example to correct the description or add photos.

Violations

Violations aren't recorded in RushHour yet: your company has no way to add one to your account. The Violations tab therefore shows No Violations for every driver.

That message doesn't come from your real driving record. It doesn't include tickets, roadside inspection results or fines. If you need to know about a violation, ask your company.

The tab can also show suggested trainings — see Trainings.
