Email in the Inbox
The Inbox keeps a record of your company's email in RushHour: the emails RushHour sends on your behalf — such as invoices, quotes and documents — and the emails that arrive at your company's inbound email address. You can also write and send new emails from here.
Open it from the sidebar: Inbox. An unread badge on the toolbar tells you when new emails have arrived.
The Inbox is shared by your company: everyone who can open it sees the same emails, and marking an email as read or deleting it applies for everyone.
Folders
| Folder | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every email, sent and received. |
| Inbox | Emails received. |
| Sent | Emails RushHour sent for your company. |
| Unread | Received emails nobody has read yet, with a count. |
Use Date range to narrow the list, and Mark all read to mark every received email as read.
The list shows From / To, Subject and Date for each email, with a paperclip when it has attachments.
Reading an email
Click an email to open it in the reading pane. You'll see the sender, recipients (To, Cc, Bcc), date, message and Attachments. Click an attachment to preview it where the file type allows, or download it.
Some emails RushHour sends contain private information, such as a password reset link or a one-time code. Those details are removed before the email is stored, and the email is marked Redacted.
From an email's actions you can:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Reply / Reply all / Forward | Opens a new message with the original quoted. |
| Mark as read / Mark as unread | Changes its read state. |
| Copy email address | Copies the email address to your clipboard. |
| Delete | Removes the email from the Inbox for everyone. |
Writing an email
- Click New message.
- In To, type a name or email address. RushHour suggests matching contacts, customer email addresses and drivers; you can also enter any address. Add Cc and Bcc recipients if you need them.
- Enter the Subject and write your Message. The editor supports bold, italic, underline, bulleted and numbered lists, and links.
- Click Send.
Each recipient receives their own copy of the message. You cannot attach files to a new message from the Inbox.
