TollGuru toll estimates

TollGuru is a service that estimates the tolls a truck pays along a route. RushHour uses toll estimates when it calculates a route-based price for a quote or order, alongside miles, driving time and fuel.

Availability today​

Automatic toll estimates are not available in RushHour at the moment:

  • Prices that RushHour calculates for quotes and orders don't include toll costs.
  • There is no TollGuru entry in Settings → Integrations yet, so a company can't connect its own TollGuru account.
  • The Toll costs switch in the Trimble Maps settings doesn't add tolls either. See Maps and routing providers.

The Enable avoid tolls option on a route card on the Dispatch board is a routing preference, not a toll estimate, and is not affected.

Accounting for tolls in the meantime​

When a route has tolls you want to bill, add them to the price yourself — for example as a charge on the quote, order or invoice. See Charge types.

Coming soon

A TollGuru Toll Costs integration in Settings → Integrations:

  • Connect your own TollGuru account with its API key. The key is used only on RushHour's servers and is shown masked after saving.
  • While the integration is on, calculated route prices include the estimated tolls, using the Truck Axle Number For Toll Pricing set for your company.
  • While it is off, routes are priced without toll costs and no toll line is added.
  • A Test connection button checks the key by pricing a sample route, without saving anything.
