Switching between companies
Some organizations run more than one company in RushHour — for example separate operating companies under one owner. In RushHour your organization's account is called a tenant, and a tenant can contain several companies.
Each company has its own customers, orders, drivers, invoices and settings. You always work in one company at a time, and everything you see belongs to that company.
Switch to another company
- Select your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar.
- In the menu, under Select Tenant, choose the company you want to work in.
RushHour switches your session to that company. To make sure every page you have open shows the new company's data, refresh the page after switching.
Things to know
- You can only switch to companies you belong to. The menu lists up to ten of your organization's active companies, and it can include companies where you don't have an account. If you choose one of those, RushHour does not switch you. If a company you belong to is missing from the list, contact RushHour.
- Your roles stay the same, your permissions may not. Your roles belong to your user account, but what each role allows is set separately in every company. The menus and actions available to you can therefore change after you switch. See Users, roles and permissions.
- Personal display choices stay with your browser. Your theme, language and New UI choice don't change when you switch company.
