The New UI

The Company Portal is available in two designs:

  • The New UI — the current design, and the one you see by default.
  • The Old UI — the previous design, which is still available.

Both designs work on the same data: an order created in one is the same order in the other. These guides describe the New UI, including its menu names. If a screen in a guide doesn't match what you see, check which design you are using.

Switch between the designs​

Use the toggle button near the right-hand end of the top toolbar. Hover over it to see what it does: Toggle Old UI when you are in the New UI, and Toggle New UI when you are in the Old UI.

Your choice is remembered in the browser you are using. It doesn't affect anyone else, and on another computer or browser the portal opens in the New UI again until you switch.

What is different​

  • Top toolbar. The New UI toolbar shows the page title and a search box, with buttons for the setup guide, notifications, the Inbox, light or dark mode, and the design toggle.
  • Menu names. The sidebar entry for customers is CRM in the New UI and Customers in the Old UI.
  • Page layouts. Several main pages, such as Orders, Dispatch, Customers and Accounting, have a redesigned layout in the New UI. Other pages, such as Settings, look much the same in both.

A few functions are only available in one of the two designs. If you can't find something a guide describes, make sure you are using the New UI.

Other display preferences​

  • Light or dark mode — the sun and moon button in the top toolbar, or Settings → Systems.
  • Language — English or Hebrew, in Settings → Systems. Hebrew displays the portal right to left.

Like the design choice, these preferences are saved in your browser.
