MCP server for AI assistants
Coming soon
Connecting an AI assistant to RushHour is not available yet. There is no server address to add to an assistant today, and the setup steps, supported assistants and available tools have not been published. This page will be updated when the feature is available.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools and data. RushHour plans to offer an MCP server so that an assistant your team already uses can look things up in RushHour for you — and, only where you allow it, make changes.
What it is meant to allow
- Answering questions from your RushHour data, such as finding an order or a customer, without switching to the Company Portal.
- Acting as a RushHour user. An assistant would work on behalf of a RushHour user, so it could never see or do more than that user's roles and permissions allow in the Company Portal.
Until then
- To connect your own software to RushHour today, use the RushHour API with a dedicated integration user — see Authentication.
- Don't paste RushHour passwords or session tokens into an AI assistant's chat. Anyone who has that credential can act as the user.
